Well, in Gentoo, you do:
emerge dvd-rip
and you're done. In other distributions, you do something very much
alike to this. An "dvd-rip-install" is not required. For people, that
don't know how to compile stuff and maybe also done want to compile
stuff, there are binary packages that they can install using the
package management.

Sure possible, but it shouldn't be done. Also, there's just no need
for it.

Installation is not the problem of dvd::rip. That's the task
of the distributor.
