[dvd::rip] MP3 encoding

Subject: [dvd::rip] MP3 encoding

Hi
I'm currently using MP3 for audio with quality 0, since the docs states
"encoding Quality. 0 - best but slower is recommended here. You will
loose one or two frames per second transcoding speed".
But I already used dvd::rip a quite some time ago and was quite sure, I
didn't get such a low framerate back then.
So I changed the quality: With -b 128,0,0 I get ~10fps, but with
-b 128,0,2 I already get ~20fps. Twice the speed. Is this normal
behavior? I'm using transcode-1.0.1.

And is there any reason why there is no way to use VBR?
Thanks.
