[dvd::rip] Forced Subtitles.

I notice there has been some talk about a "forced subtitle" feature in
dvd::rip. Has this moved forward at all?

I ask because i have a DVD that has 1 English subtitle and when played
on a stand alone player, the foreign audio has an English subtitle.

If i were to play this DVD in Kaffeine, the forced subtitles appear
correctly, if i were to play this in mplayer - they will not appear (i
have to choose subtitle track , then ALL audio is subtitled...

If i were to use dvd::rip to render subtitle, then ALL audio is subtitled.

Any ideas?
