And how does the command look? Since this is a different DVD, the 
command is important, of course ;)

As well you could check what this prints resp. what's in the file 
"dvdrip-progress.out":

  cat *.vob | dvdrip-progress -m <SIZE-IN-MB> -i 5 >/dev/null 2> 
dvdrip-progress.out

Best is you compress dvdrip-progress.out and send it straight to me, 
together with the commands you used.
