Maybe due to chronical lack of time (so fast review), I've just missed the
message in transcode's mailing list.

Neverthless, tccat 1.0.x has known problems except when dealing with
directories containing multiple files (tipically, vobs).
There are plans for improving and hopefully fix all issues, but they
are related to new 1.1.x branch. Branch 1.0.x isn't easy to fix.

There is a tentative patch here:

but seems to work only in some cases.

speaking for myself it's a matter of time, not of money. I find very
interesting (and even funny) to hack transcode. =)
