Hello everyone, new to this list, did a quick search, but didn't see any
reference to this, if I missed it, terribly sorry.
I was playing around with the transcode cluster support in dvdrip, but
was having an interesting problem:
Remote nodes never return at 100%.
Transcoding a DVD, the ssh commands are sent correct (watching top on
the remote machines shows them transcoding), and the GUI shows the %
complete going up steadily. However, when they hit 98%, they stay
there, the process finishes on the remote machine (top shows them back
to 0% CPU usage), however thee ssh command never returns on the master
machine. Jobs do come back on the local machine (non-SSH'd)
Tested on 3 computers (all running 1.0.2 transcode):
Ubuntu (6.10) running the GUI and Master
Ubuntu (6.10) running only as a node
Gentoo running as a node with local NFS share
Has this been addressed before? Or shall I start digging further?
