[dvd::rip] dvdrip works really slow on second pass

Hi,

I donÂt know if my issue is posted here correctly but maybe someone has a hint 
for me.

When I encode with dvd::rip (0.98x)  and transcode 1.0.2 without 
deinterlacing, fast medium rescaling and using the module xvid4 the second 
pass is extremly slow.

The first pass is done with about 50 fps, the second pass gets 4 fps only.

The configuration of my computer:

PentiumIV 3.2Ghz with hyperthreading enabled
Memory: 1 GB
Distr.: Gentoo Linux build with arch=prescott and omit-frame-pointers

I remember that my old Athlon 1.6Ghz was much faster.
