[dvd::rip] Subtitle manipulation

Hello,
I used dvd::rip for a long time, but since not long time ago (like 2 weeks) my rendered subtitles are getting a black background, covering a part of the movie. Even if I left subtitle manipulations unclicked, the black border appears in the recoded movie. I don't know how to manipulate the subtitles, if someone have some documentation about it, please, let me know.

I am using transcode 1.0.2, latest stable dvd::rip, Ubuntu 6.06 LTS.
