[dvd::rip] Filters button greyed but dependencies OK

Argh!!!

I have just discovered that the filters dialog had not been rewritten after the Gtk2 rewrite!

The changelog of version 0.98 says that this dialog is operational again starting with version 0.97.11 (june 2006).

So my apologies for posting my question. I had looked at the email archives, but the answer was buried quite deep.

At this time I have started downloading and installing packages for dvd::rip 0.98.1, but they are compiled for Mandriva 2007, so some of them require perl-base >= 2:5.8.8 which in turn requires a version of glibc that does not match the one on my system... So it's dependencies hell again and again.

In short, enabling the filters button in dvd::rip will require that I spend several days gettings all the dependencies from whatever source provides some of them, or that I completely change my base system and update to Mandriva 2007 or something else. This totally out of question at this time (it took me a full year to have all the programs I wanted running under Mandriva 2006, I'm not going to change anytime soon).

Now if only someone would tell me where to find the dvd::rip rpm for version 0.98 compiled for Mandriva 2006...
