Hi,
I'm just trying DVD::RIP for the first time, and although I can rip my
dvd with no problem, I'm having transcode issues. Here's the salient
error message:
[transcode] warning : (dl_loader.c) loading
"/usr/lib64/transcode/export_xvid4.so" failed
[transcode] warning : (encoder.c) loading video export module failed
[transcode] warning : failed to init export modules
[transcode] critical: plug-in initialization failed
What confuses me is that export_xvid4.so can't be loaded. When I do
"locate export_xvid4.so", I see it at
/usr/lib64/transcode/export_xvid4.so
right where it's supposed to be. And when I go into the debug/check
dependencies menu, xvid4conf is found no problem, so that doesn't seem
to be an issue.
So I must admit, I'm stumped. Can anyone help?
I'm running dvd::rip 0.98.2, on a fedora core 6 laptop, running this
kernel:
>uname -a
Linux laptop 2.6.18-1.2868.fc6 #1 SMP Fri Dec 15 17:29:48 EST 2006
x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Many thanks in advance.
