[dvd::rip] DVDRip does not detect Mplayer on Ubuntu

Hi!
DVDRip does not detect Mplayer on Ubuntu. Its version is (output by
"mplayer")

MPlayer 2:1.0~rc1-0ubuntu3

As I do not have any perl skills and I'd like to fix this in Ubuntu,
could you tell me how I have to change 

$out =~ /MPlayer\s+(\d+\.\d+(\.\d+)?)/i;

in Video/DVDRip/Depend.pm in order to fix this?
