[dvd::rip] WARNING: no IFO files found - vobsub feature disabled.

Subject: [dvd::rip] WARNING: no IFO files found - vobsub feature disabled.

I'm new to dvdrip and I'm attempting to make a backup copy of one of my DVDs. I'd like to maintain the DVD capability of being able to turn subtitles on or off. After a number of different attempts with either the DVD as a file set or as an ISO image I keep getting the subject message. The pertinent log file looks like:

...
Wed Feb 21 21:10:08 2007 Executing command: execflow tcprobe -H 10 -i /mnt/loop -T 11 && echo EXECFLOW_OK; execflow dvdxchap -t 11 /mnt/loop 2>/dev/null

The weird thing is that the subtitles get extracted as .png files and I can render the subtitles into the copied movie. Why am I unable to create a vobsub file? The message regarding copying .IFO files immediately after the warning is also strange since nothing ever shows up in the ifo directory.

I'm running the current version of dvdrip as installed from the dries repo under FC6. FC6 is current. The VIDEO_TS directory for the DVD has a bunch of .IFO files and, as noted earlier, I'm able to extract the strings and then render the strings into the output.

Any advice would be appreciated. If there is a need for additional information (e.g., run something from the command line with additional debug), please let me know.

Thanks,
Dave
