a/v sync can be conspensated with mencoder.

Anyway, using dvd::rip, on the transcode tab there is a box for
additional transcode options. add there -P 1 (pass-trouhg mode for
video). And select as video codec ffmpeg (it supports pass-trough).

I do not know if this will work, but you may try.
