[dvd::rip] Re: transcode stops in pass

Anyone have an idea on this? I have more at least do not have a clue on what to do. --brianr

I am squeezing a DVD to be run from an older PocketPC (Casio E125) in about 130Meg at 320x176. I have done this utilizing some Windows PC software and wanted to get it running under Linux (Gentoo kernel version 2.6.20) using dvdrip.

I am using dvdrip 0.98.4 which fixes the preview problem I had earlier.

I am placing it into an .avi containter, ffmpeg mpeg4 video, mp3 at 64K with a vrate of 190. I decided to run the transcode command at the command line to get the most debug information, here is the command and output. It locks up at the [decode_mpeg2.c] libmpeg2 acceleration: 3dnow line at the end. Also it goes to 125%.
