[dvd::rip] dvd::rip 0.98.4 / 0.98.6 failures

Hi,

I've been using dvd::rip for long time now, it's a great GUI
for transcode... thanks.

dvd::rip worked fine until I upgraded to 0.98.4 (0.98.5 and 0.98.6
suffer same problem) which in the Changelog says it fixed many bugs.

So the problem basically is that when I choose to rip a chapter
with default options, there is any error and all jobs failed,
even you cannot cancel the jobs pending (I have to close the app).

I took three screenshots:

The first one is in the rip tab, before ripping a chapter:

The error happens every time I try to rip any chapter from the DVD,
no matter what options I select, the error is always the same.

0.98.1 works perfectly with the same options, I tried with 0.98.[456]
and all gave me that error.

I'm using latest versions for required perl modules:
      
p5-AnyEvent-2.52    Simple API for io, timer and completion callbacks
p5-Event-RPC-0.90   Event based transparent Client/Server RPC framework
p5-Event-ExecFlow-0.63 High level API for event-based execution flow control

Do you have any idea? BTW I couldn't get debug messages with -d [level],
why?
