[dvd::rip] DVD to DVD

I have a long movie on a dual layer DVD that is 7G in size.
I just want to break it into 2 regular size 4.7G DVDs.

The original has multiple sound and subtitle tracks, and a fairly
complicated menu structure, but I really only want the main movie
with one audio track and one subtitle track.

I managed to rip it to a SVCD using dvd::rip, but the quality was
too low.
How can I rip it to 2 DVDs?
Actually, it would be enough to rip it to DVD-quality MPEGs, one for 
each title.
Once I have those I know how to make them into DVDs.
