That's no problem. Just enter the frame range (which cuts off the
credits) in dvd::rip and check the button "Consider frame range" on the
"Video bitrate calculation" / "By target size" tab. Then dvd::rip will
calculate the bitrate accordingly. When you add this project to the
cluster, you get the well known warning about not considering the frame
range.
Indeed the whole movie gets transcoded, but afterwards simply open the
AVI file with avidemux, cut off the credits and you're done.
