[dvd::rip] error while doing make install

hi,

i downloaded dvdrip 0.98.6 and tried to install it, but i got the
following error:

file /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8/i586-linux-thread-multi/perllocal.pod from
install of dvdrip-0.98.6-1 conflicts with file from package perl-5.8.8-32

any hint to fix this?
