Resizable yes, but you can't make it smaller...

That's a little too old ;). Upgrade to 0.98.8 and you can switch the GUI
to a "small screen" size version. Just open the Preference window. You 
find this option on the first page. You need to restart dvd::rip for 
this to take effect.
