Hi Jörg,

as I wrote in my other reply to this topic that for my problem I assume the copy protection is confusing transcode. So my approach would be to analyse the MPEG PS stream to determine the right value for transcodes --av-fine-ms option to get a general solution beside trail and error.

Do you know a good internet page that describes the MPEG PS stream so that I could write a program that tries to determine this video to audio offset? Can you suggest a tool, e.g. from the transcode package, or a library that would be a good starting point so that I wouldn't need to start from scretch? I saw that transcode uses already tcscan or tcprobe to determine an offset automatically but in my case it's not working. So perhaps I just need to improve this tool. Should I ask the transcode guys first?

Regards

Michael
