[dvd::rip] transcode multi-cpu

Subject: [dvd::rip] transcode multi-cpu

Hi!

I was a great fan of clustering, but I just had a look at the transcode process on a quad-core without the clustering turned on, and the CPU usage was.... 175%...constantly. Is this some great new feature of transcode? Because just a couple of months before this was definitely not the case. Or am I missing something?

FYI:
soos@doom:$ transcode --version
transcode v1.0.6rc1 (C) 2001-2003 Thomas Oestreich, 2003-2004 T. Bitterberg, 2004-2008 Transcode Team

soos@doom:$ dvdrip --version
0.98.8

I am using xvidcodre4 ver 1.1.3-03 (debian versioning)

Bests,

Mate
