Hi,
I had a problem when I tried to rip a DVD-to-DVD copy that had only
one audio track. After some checking I found out that the reason is
that dvdrip specifies for the first audio track also the track number
0: '-a 0'. Using tcscan on the ripped vob files showed track number
1. Specifying '-a 1' as transcode parameter allowed me to use dvdrip
to rip this dvd.
Is a single audio track DVD that doesn't specifiy track number 0 a
DVD that doesn't follow the standards or should we try to use the
tcscan output to get the right track numbers?
I had another DVD with a single audio track numbered 2. Also in this
case tcscan showed the correct track number and specifying transcode
option '-a 2' helped.
I always activate 2-pass option. Since the audio is not ripped during
the first pass the problem occured AFTER finishing this pass. :-(
Do you have an idea how complicated it is it analyse tcscan output to
determine the correct audio track numbers?
Regards
Michael
